"Go into all the world and preach the Gospel ..."
The commission that Jesus gave to his disciples as He went to heaven is just as real today as it was then.
We live in a country of 296 million people. Church experts say that America is the third largest unreached nation, yet we are labeled a "Christian" country.
Blitz 435 is simple. Jesus said in John 4:35 "... open your eyes and look at the fields. They are ripe for the harvest."
You do not have to cross the sea to win the lost. You don't have to stand behind a pulpit to win a person to Christ. You simply have to be a voice.
We cannot remain silent. We must go and reach our world, right where they are. Jesus never invited people to church. He went to the people.
Blitz 435 does just that. Several times year we have outreaches where we just love on people. Be it taking them a bag of popcorn, having a free yard sale, or just going to someone's house to ask if we can pray for them.
We also sponsor the annual "Celebrate Freedom" event at Mary G Montgomery High School. Celebrate Freedom 08 saw crowds in excess of 8,000 people.
